Obtaining a Motorboat Helmsman license, Yacht Sailor certificate, or Offshore Yacht Helmsman qualification during the winter months means that when the season begins, you will be ready for independent voyages. It is also worth taking part in courses on navigation, marine meteorology, and water safety – theoretical knowledge gained during winter can be invaluable when summer weather conditions present real challenges.
