What we offer?

"Skipper all in one" is an exclusive training package designed solely for members of the Ocean Angels Club, comprising training and admission to exams with the possibility of obtaining up to three certifications: the Boat Master certificate from the International Sailing School Association (ISSA), the Motorboat Skipper's license issued by the Polish Motorboat and Water Skiing Association*, and the Helmsman certificate awarded by IRSMA. This package is tailored for individuals who prefer a comprehensive approach to training and acquiring multiple certifications. Is it possible? Absolutely! Our program is proprietary, blending three training techniques, encompassing extensive theory and demanding practical components. However, this solution saves you money and time.

How is the training conducted?

After completing the online classes and passing the tests, the well-prepared candidate is invited to attend the on-site training held at one of our training centers. The training lasts a full 52 hours. During this time, candidates go through bosun's work, first aid, dispute resolution, handling emergencies, and finally, practical training on a floating unit. Upon completion of the last stage, they take the theoretical exam following the regulations of PZMiNW, and then proceed to the practical exam. The training concludes with the presentation of certificates and issuance of statements.

COURSE PROGRESSION AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS
THE COURSE CAN BE CONDUCTED IN TWO OPTIONS, AND IT'S YOUR CHOICE

HYBRID FORM
Step one: After creating an account on our platform and selecting the course, each candidate is required to complete the documents required by Ocean Angels through the system.

Step two: Each candidate must participate in a series of three 2-hour online sessions with an OAC instructor. These meetings take place via commonly available video conferencing applications. If you don't have the required application, the meeting will be conducted through the OAC-provided system.

Step three: E-learning training, to be attended after the online meetings with the OAC instructor. This stage is mandatory for each candidate and involves self-study theoretical sessions that do not take place in a traditional classroom setting.

Step four: In the final phase of the theoretical training, the participant must complete an assessment test to verify the substantive knowledge acquired in the previous steps. Successfully passing the exam allows for enrollment in the stationary training, which lasts from 5 to 16 hours, depending on the selected service (one to two days, time depends on the number of participants and their preparedness after the e-learning session).

Step five: Participation in the stationary training enables the candidate, based on the qualifications/certificates/licenses they are applying for, to take the exam. Exams take place on the last day of the stationary course or on the following day.

Step six: Depending on the organization or qualifications selected by the course participant, it is necessary to submit an application for a document or wait for documentation confirming eligibility to operate yachts or confirming acquired knowledge and skills.

STATIONARY FORM
Step one: After creating an account on our platform and selecting the course, each candidate is required to complete the documents required by Ocean Angels through the system.

Step two: Each candidate should participate in a 30-minute online meeting with an OAC instructor. Meetings take place via commonly available video conferencing applications. If you don't have the required application, the meeting will be conducted through the OAC-provided system. The purpose of the meeting is to provide basic training materials and prepare the participant for the full stationary training. The online meeting is not mandatory; however, candidates have access to training materials for self-study e-learning.

Step three: Each candidate is obliged to participate in a 24-hour stationary training divided into two modules: theoretical and practical. Training sessions are conducted in various locations in EU countries at OAC-designated facilities.

Step four: Full participation in the stationary training allows the candidate, based on the qualifications/certificates/licenses they are applying for, to take the exam. Exams take place on the last day of the stationary course or on the following day.

Step five: Depending on the organization or qualifications selected by the course participant, it is necessary to submit an application for a document or wait for documentation confirming eligibility to operate yachts or confirming acquired knowledge and skills.

* Each participant should pay special attention to the training offer they have chosen. Below describes the process of obtaining State licenses/certificates or licenses.

Exams are organized on the day the participant completes the practical/stationary training. After passing the exam and obtaining a certificate, the participant must complete the application following the instructions of the Polish Motorboat and Waterskiing Association >Patent application<

Obtaining a Motorboat Helmsman, Yacht Salior, Sea Motorboat Skipper, Yacht Skipper, and SRC Radio Operator certificate issued by IRSMA requires passing an internal exam organized by Ocean Angels on the day the participant completes the practical/stationary training. The exam for the IRSMA license is a separate exam required by the International Recreation Sailing and Motorboat Association.
