Popeye’s Sandwich
New Year’s resolutions — in this case, our Culinary Mondays series dedicated to Mediterranean cuisine — will hopefully capture your interest… at least that’s what we’re counting on.

Ingredients:spinach 25 grams, eggs 4 pieces, butter 10 grams or 3 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic 2 cloves, Spices:salt, pepper, | Preparation:Step 1: Wash the spinach leaves and dry them with a paper towel. Step 2: Melt the butter in a pan, add the spinach and fry for a few minutes, until softened. Step 3: Add the garlic pressed through a garlic press and fry for about 30 seconds. Step 4: Spread the spinach evenly in the pan and crack in the eggs. Step 5: Cook covered over low heat until the tops of the eggs are set. Step 6: Season during cooking; we recommend seasoning the spinach before adding the eggs. |
