What do we offer?
“Become a Captain” is a week-long intensive training and internship cruise
conducted on the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, with a strong focus on
practical command of a vessel.
During the cruise participants gain knowledge and experience in:
- marine navigation and voyage planning
- meteorology and captain-level decision making
- yacht construction and operation
- seamanship work
- port manoeuvres and anchoring
- operating a vessel in various conditions
- crew management and watch organization
The training is conducted by an experienced captain–instructor team,
and participants gradually take responsibility for commanding the yacht.
The program is enriched with recreational and tourism elements:
- sightseeing in historic port cities
- stops in bays and near beaches
- water and beach sports
- integration events
- relaxation activities (yoga)
- Latin dance
Recreational participation – is it possible?
Yes.
The cruise allows participation in a recreational format for people
who want to enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea
without actively taking part in the training.
Captain and crew:
- take full responsibility for operating the vessel
- allow participation in selected elements of the program
- ensure a comfortable and individualized cruise experience

The cruise route runs between ports and islands of the Mediterranean Sea
and is adjusted each time according to weather conditions.

Day 1
- 09:00 – meeting at the marina
- 10:00 – bosun’s breakfast

- 16:30 – embarkation and safety briefing

Vessels
The cruise is conducted on offshore yachts adapted for
bluewater sailing, enabling captain-level training,
watch system work and comfortable life on board.
Captain team
The cruise is led by captains with extensive offshore experience,
specializing in advanced training and internship cruises.
Important organizational information
The final cruise plan is determined during the captain’s dinner
and may change during the cruise.
The captain’s decisions are final and made in the interest of the safety
of participants, crew and the vessel.
Changes may result from, among others:
- weather conditions
- health situations of participants
- safety communications (Mayday, Pan Pan, Securité)
- vessel malfunction
- behaviour threatening safety
- extraordinary situations
