Elite Membership is dedicated to individuals who value elite comfort, exclusivity, and the highest level of safety. Membership can be obtained only after a prior meeting with a representative of the OAC organization. Packages are strictly limited.

Requirements for joining

  1. Minimum age of 18, (minors require guardian consent)
  2. Citizenship of a country belonging to the European Union
  3. Holding individual membership for a minimum of 12 months.

What does a member of the organization receive?

  1. individual membership valid for 24 months,
  2. free entry to events organized by OAC and its partners throughout Europe (applies to the VIP zone) (1)
  3. support from certified EIEA experts regarding watercraft, including full claims handling, also for international claims,
  4. possibility to obtain a patent / certificate / license without additional fees (7),
  5. a free cycle of in-house training organized online and on-site,
  6. expert advice on matching qualifications to individual needs,
  7. free services in partner marinas of OAC across Europe (4),
  8. a free 4-day internship in a selected OAC sailing base,
  9. free 3-hour access to a motorboat at a partner OAC base,
  10. 15% discount on boat service,
  11. 25% discount on participation in voyages organized by OAC,
  12. 25% discount on sailing clothing in the official and partner stores.

    Additional services requiring activation:
  13. individual legal protection,
  14. extended sailing insurance (3),
  15. personal accident insurance (3),
  16. private liability insurance, which also covers chartering motorboats and sailing boats (3),
  17. family member protection (4),
  18. seasonal boat service with technical support (8),
  19. watercraft assistance including a replacement motorboat (9),


All persons interested in obtaining membership are invited to read the website regulations and the membership regulations available at www.oac.nu (regulations tab). Please also read the content in the section "Important Information".

NOTE: Registration on the portal and payment for the selected service is not equivalent to acquiring membership. In order to join the organization, you must download, print, complete, and send back a scan or a clear photocopy of the declaration available after registration. Please also send scans or photocopies of the remaining documents available after registration. Failure to meet the membership conditions available on the OAC organization website will result in blocking participation in membership. The funds will be fully refunded within 30 days from the moment of payment. The decision on admitting a person as a member of the Association is made by the Association’s management board. 

Membership available exclusively for persons who previously held member status in the premium group for a minimum of 12 months. Acquisition of membership is possible only at the company or association headquarters or by visiting the interested person/entity after prior appointment reservation.

All additional services require confirmation. Some additional services require registration / activation of the service with partners who may require additional documents such as authorization to conclude an insurance policy on behalf of the member / client, a scan of the insurance policy for the watercraft, a medical certificate, or additional certificates, etc. All additional services are inactive by default; activation of a service requires the member / client to contact the office of the Ocean Angels Association or NavRock Sp z o.o.. We encourage you to contact us to discuss the details before registration and payment.

LEGEND
(1) entry to occasional events, events, sports events, competitions, conferences – depends on the membership held and is each time individually defined by the event regulations.
(2) the member receives discounts on sailing clothing in OAC’s own store or partner stores; if no minimum threshold is described, discounts are dynamic and subject to change.
(3) sailing insurance requires individual contact from the interested person; by default this service is not active. Activation of the service requires the interested person applying for membership to contact the office of the Ocean Angels Association or NavRock Sp z o.o. in order to determine the activation details. The final decision on concluding the insurance policy is made by the partner Insurance Company (TU). St. Ocean Angels and NavRock Sp z o.o. have no influence on insurers’ decisions regarding the conclusion of an insurance policy and providing coverage for the interested person and their family members. Extension of insurance coverage consists of an additional offer from the TU. The offer is tailored to individual needs. At the request of the interested person, an offer for personal accident insurance (Accidents Personal Insurance)
(4) the member receives discounts in partner marinas of OAC; if no minimum threshold is described, discounts are dynamic and subject to change.
(5) protection of family members concerns insurance protection and legal protection if such a service is available in
(6) legal protection is an external service offered by partner law firms. The scope of services includes:
      Basic protection – legal advice and proposed ways of solving issues provided exclusively through online contact,
      the member / client describes the legal problem in a dedicated form and receives responses electronically (via e-mail)
      within up to 30 days from the moment the completed form is submitted. The form becomes available after registration , purchasing
      the service and confirmation of membership. The service is limited to the number of consultations – up to 3 actions during the active membership period and
      renewed each year of membership.
      Premium legal protection – includes the scope of the basic service with the possibility of extension to 20 consultations during the membership period and
      assignment of a legal advisor.
      Individual protection – includes the scope of the premium service with the possibility of assigning a law firm to the service. Contact takes place individually
      between the law firm and the holder of active Individual membership.
(7) a person holding active Individual membership may participate in training for Motorboat Helmsman, Sea Motorboat Helmsman, Water Skier Towing License, Inland Power Yacht Skipper by ISSA, InShore Power Yacht Skipper, without additional training fees. The active member does not incur additional examination fees.
(8) the offer includes motorboat service – seasonal engine service (replacement of fluids and oils) and winter protection (washing, drying and preservation of the hull against low temperatures)
(9) watercraft assistance is a separate insurance service – activated by special individual request. The cost of the service is included in the Elite package. However, NavRock Sp z o.o. reserves the right to charge additional individual fees for the service if the cost of concluding the policy exceeds 120% of the membership value.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ISSUED DOCUMENTS

Dear Sir or Madam, please carefully read the regulations due to numerous questions regarding the recognition of documents, certificates, licenses, ID cards and patents issued by our partners.

LIABILITY

OAC does not assume responsibility for documents, certificates, licenses, ID cards and patents issued by organizations, companies and institutions with which Ocean Angels Club has separate agreements. The responsibility of Ocean Angels Club is limited solely to the manner in which the training is conducted. Completion of the training itself does not grant permission to operate watercraft. Each participant is required to obtain appropriate qualifications. More information on this subject can be obtained from the instructor, at the company headquarters or in the course description.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19

Members of our organization are exempt from some restrictions applicable in the areas of OAC activities in European Union countries. Each participant is required to complete free training on preventing the spread of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 causing COVID-19 symptoms. The training content is based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), which we as entities are pleased to promote non-commercially. Ocean Angels, as an association within the framework of non-commercial support of WHO, joins in spreading knowledge that will help save the health and lives of healthcare workers and bystanders.

The management board of the Ocean Angels association together with the business partner Ocean Angels International (NavRock Sp z o.o.) has decided on additional rules applicable in OAC operational facilities.

For the health and safety of our clients, members and employees, please cover your nose and mouth when staying in closed rooms where training sessions, meetings, conferences and events organized by OAC or OAC partners take place.
